QuoteShield
Write to support@apsoluts.com. A person reads it. Telling us your device, your iOS or Android version, and the screen you were on will usually save a round trip. Please do not send us your project records — we do not need them and would rather not hold them.
One of the amounts it depends on is unknown — a line without a price, a tax rate you have not entered, or a quote that only states a lump sum. Open the quote and the missing figure is marked. QuoteShield never fills a gap with zero.
Flags are questions, not verdicts. Each one names the rule that raised it (the full list is in Settings → About → Rules used by this app) and what you can ask the contractor. You can mark a flag as answered or not applicable and that choice sticks.
QuoteShield Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription billed by Apple or Google, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Cancel before the trial ends and nothing is charged; otherwise the plan you chose starts automatically. Cancel or change plan from your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings (Settings → Manage subscription in the app takes you there). On a new phone, open Settings and choose Restore subscription, signed in to the same Apple or Google account. When a subscription ends the app becomes read-only for Pro records — everything you entered stays readable, and backup, restore and deletion still work. If the app cannot reach the store it keeps Pro working for a grace period and then shows unverified; your records are never hidden or locked. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Reminders are local notifications. Check that QuoteShield is allowed to send notifications in your phone's Settings, and that the reminder date is in the future. The date you entered is still on the warranty record either way.
If you set an app password or a backup password, we cannot recover it — there is no account and no reset. The app warned about this when the password was set. Your only route back is a backup you made before, with a password you still have.
Settings → Backup makes an encrypted file; save it somewhere you control, then restore it from Settings on the new phone (iPhone and Android backups are interchangeable). The restore preview shows what will be added and asks about any conflicts before writing.
Deleted records go to Settings → Recently deleted for 30 days and can be restored; after that they are gone. Deleting the app removes everything at once. There is nothing on a server of ours to delete.
