Support

If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. This page is for questions about the app. It is not a crisis line, and email is not read around the clock. The app's Safety centre lists support lines that are.

Write to support@apsoluts.com. A person reads it. Telling us your device and your iOS or Android version will usually save a round trip. Please do not include what you or your partner wrote in the app — we do not need it and would rather not hold it.

My partner and I share one phone — how does it know whose turn it is?

The switch at the top of most screens shows whose session it is. Hand the phone over, tap it, choose the other name. Each of you can require Face ID, a fingerprint or the phone's passcode to open your own private space — the setting is in the Privacy tab, and each partner sets their own.

Can we use it on two phones?

Not in this version. Everything stays on one phone, handed back and forth. Using two phones is planned, and what you have written will carry over when it arrives.

I want my data out, or gone

Privacy tab. Export everything of mine gives you a readable file of your private space and the shared space — never your partner's private space. Delete my private data removes yours and leaves the shared space and your partner's data untouched. Delete everything on this device removes all three. There is no copy anywhere else.

Joint sessions switched themselves off

Something you wrote matched the safety screening, so the app stopped joint work on this device and showed support resources. Your partner was not told. You can turn joint sessions back on yourself in the Safety centre, and everything private kept working throughout. If the screening got it wrong, that is worth telling us — without the text itself — so we can improve the phrase list.

The support lines are for the United States

Yes, in this version, and the app says so. If you are elsewhere, contact your national domestic-abuse or crisis line, or your local emergency number. Regional directories are on the list.

Is any of this reviewed by a professional?

The guidance in the app is drawn from published, general relationship material and is labelled in the app with its review status. It is not therapy and not a substitute for it. If you are working with a counsellor, their advice comes first.
