MediVerify AI

Terms of Use

Effective 15 September 2026

These terms govern your use of MediVerify AI. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The one that matters most. MediVerify AI is not a doctor, not a diagnosis and not a treatment. It explains, in plain language, what medical information usually means, so that you can have a better conversation with a clinician. Never delay, stop or change care because of something the app said. If you think you may be having an emergency, call your local emergency number now.

1. Who you are contracting with

MediVerify AI is published by Apex Root Solutions LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, with its registered office in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, and its principal place of business in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas. "We" and "us" mean that company; "you" means the person using the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You may add a profile for a family member you care for only if you are entitled to handle their health information and, where they are an adult, have their agreement.

3. Not medical advice

The app provides general health information and educational explanations generated by software from the information you enter and from public sources. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, prognosis or treatment; it does not establish a clinician–patient relationship; and it is not a medical device. Its output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong for your situation. Every decision about your health must be made with a qualified clinician who can examine you and who knows your history.

The emergency screening in the app is a safety net, not a guarantee. It looks for common warning signs in what you typed; it cannot see you and can miss things. Trust your own judgement and the judgement of the people around you over the app's.

4. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use MediVerify AI on Apple or Android devices you own or control, for your own and your family's personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app, reverse engineer it except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable where you live, use it to provide services to others, or use it to build a competing product.

5. Your information

You own the information you enter. You are responsible for its accuracy and for having the right to enter it, including information about others. The app stores it on your device as described in the Privacy Policy; where an analysis is performed by our service, you grant us the limited right to process what you submitted for the purpose of returning the result, and nothing more.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the app to obtain or attempt to obtain a controlled substance, to harm yourself or anyone else, to make decisions about another person's care without their consent or lawful authority, to test or probe the safety systems in bad faith, or in breach of any law.

7. Plans and purchases

The Free plan includes a limited number of analyses per month. The Basic plan (US$9.99 a month) and Premium plan (US$29.99 a month) include more, and each is offered as an annual subscription at a 20% discount. A single detailed report may be purchased for US$4.99. Prices are shown in your local currency in the store before you buy and may differ by region and change over time; the price you see at purchase is the price you pay.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Google, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed and cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account, not in the app. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies. If a subscription lapses you keep everything you saved; you return to the Free plan's allowance. We may change plan contents or prices for future periods with notice in the app.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue the app or any feature at any time, including the analysis service, and we may update these terms; the date at the top says when. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. If we discontinue a paid feature during a period you have paid for, you may be entitled to a pro-rated refund from the store.

9. Ending this agreement

You may stop at any time by deleting the app; deleting it removes its data from your device. We may end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 5, 10, 11, 12 and 13 survive the end of this agreement.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any explanation, screening or suggestion will be correct or complete, or that it will meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, or for any injury, illness, delay in care or worsening of a condition arising out of or relating to your reliance on the app, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty United States dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your entering information about another person without the right to do so.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there where such a right cannot be waived.

14. Apple and Google

If you installed the app from Google Play, this agreement is between you and us, not with Google; Google is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Google's own terms for Google Play also apply to your use of the store.

If you installed the app from the App Store: this agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, a failure to conform to a legal requirement, or a claim under consumer-protection or privacy law. Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending or resolving any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any United States list of prohibited or restricted parties.

15. General

These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the app. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
