Covenant
Effective 6 September 2026 · Last updated 6 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Apex Root Solutions LLC for the Covenant app. Covenant introduces adults to each other for the purpose of marriage. Please read section 6 on safety and section 9 on what Covenant does not promise, because those are the parts people most often assume.
Covenant is published by Apex Root Solutions LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, with its registered office in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, and its principal place of business in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas.
You may use Covenant only if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are closed and deleted.
You sign in with your phone number, or with Apple or Google. Keep control of whichever you use; anyone with access to it can reach your account. Tell us at support@apsoluts.com if you think someone else has.
One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not create an account on someone else's behalf.
Covenant is a marriage-intent product, and the whole of its usefulness rests on people being honest about a small number of things. You agree that what you say about the following is true:
You may not, on Covenant:
We may remove content, restrict features, or close an account that breaches this section. Where we can, we will tell you why. Where the safety of another member requires immediate action, we will act first.
Never send money to someone you met on Covenant. Requests for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or bank details are the single most common pattern in romance fraud, including from people who seem entirely sincere and who have spoken to you for months. There is no situation in which sending money to someone you have not met is safe. We will warn you when a conversation mentions it, but the warning is not a substitute for the rule.
When you first meet in person, meet somewhere public, tell someone where you are going, and arrange your own transport. Covenant provides trusted contacts and check-ins for exactly this, and using them costs nothing.
You can report or block any member at any time. Reports are confidential and the member is never told who reported them. Blocking closes every route between you: messages, calls, status and discovery.
Covenant verifies phone numbers, photographs, identity documents and, in some cases, a stated profession. Each badge states what it establishes and what it does not. A photo badge means a live selfie matched the profile photographs; it does not confirm a legal name. An identity badge means a government document was checked against a live selfie.
Verification is not a background check. We do not screen members for criminal history, and a badge is not a statement that someone is safe, honest or unmarried. Use your own judgement.
Some features — messaging, voice notes, audio and video calls, seeing everyone who liked you, and others — require a paid membership.
What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to host, store, reproduce and display it for the purpose of operating Covenant, and to retain it as section 8 of the Privacy Policy describes. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except where we must keep a copy for a safety investigation or because the law requires it.
You may delete your account at any time in Settings › Data & privacy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we must to protect someone.
Covenant is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of any member — online or in person. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty United States dollars.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Dallas County, Texas.
Two exceptions, which both sides keep. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. And nothing in this section displaces a mandatory consumer protection right you hold where you live — if your local law gives you the right to bring a claim locally, you keep it.
If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Covenant afterwards means you accept the new version.
