Screenshot Inbox

No. They are read on your device by Apple's own text recognition, and neither the images nor the text taken out of them are sent to us — we run no server for this app. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
It can delete screenshots you select and confirm, and nothing else. You see a confirmation saying how many are involved and how many hold information you have not saved; iOS then asks you as well. Deleted screenshots go to Recently Deleted in Photos, where you can restore them for around 30 days.
No. The app saves what it extracted — including the text and a thumbnail — before the original is touched, and that copy survives. You will find it in the Library.
Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos and make sure Screenshot Inbox has access. If you granted limited access, the app can only see the images you selected; use "Select More Photos" or switch to full access. You can also pull down on the Inbox to scan again.
Correct it on the Review screen before confirming — every field is editable, and you can change the category or pick a different action. If the text itself came out badly, "Crop and read again" lets you point at just the part that matters. Nothing is written to your calendar or contacts until you confirm.
Close the app fully and open it again. The database cannot change its sync mode while it is open, which is why the setting says "Restart to finish". After that, the status line under the switch tells you what is actually happening — including if you are signed out of iCloud or out of storage.
Settings → Export all data produces a JSON file with your saved items and their extracted text, which you can share anywhere.
In your Apple Account settings, not here — subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple. Settings → Manage Subscription opens the right screen. If it lapses, the app keeps working and nothing you saved is removed.
Settings → Delete all data erases the app's database and stored images. It does not touch your photo library. Deleting the app does the same.
