LifeOS Finance
Effective 6 September 2026 · Last updated 6 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Apex Root Solutions LLC for the use of LifeOS Finance. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
LifeOS Finance is published by Apex Root Solutions LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, with its registered office in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, and its principal place of business in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas. You can reach us at support@apsoluts.com.
You must be at least 18 years old to use LifeOS Finance. No account is required. If you link a bank or card, that connection is tied to your installation of the app, not to a LifeOS account — we do not operate a login system of our own.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use LifeOS Finance on devices you own or control, for your own personal or household financial planning. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app itself, except where the law says you may despite this clause.
LifeOS Finance is an organisational and educational tool. It is not a financial adviser, a tax preparer, a lawyer, a broker-dealer, or a fiduciary, and nothing it shows you is personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
Every calculator, projection, scenario and insight in the app states the method and the assumptions behind it, and is shown as a range where precision would be false. They are tools for working through your own numbers, not recommendations to buy, sell, borrow, refinance, insure or file anything in a particular way. Verify anything you rely on with a qualified professional before you act on it, and the app will tell you when a topic — tax, legal, investment or suspected fraud — is one it thinks you should.
LifeOS Finance cannot initiate a payment, a transfer, a trade, or any other movement of money, under any feature or setting, now or as described in these terms. Linking a bank or card (section 7) only ever requests information about your accounts; it never grants the ability to move money out of them.
The Copilot answers questions by running calculations on your own data. It can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for professional advice — section 4 applies to everything it tells you as much as to any other part of the app. Its answers are shown alongside the figures they are built from so you can check them.
Linking is optional and off by default. When you turn it on, you authorise us to request read-only access to the accounts you choose, through Plaid, Inc. Your use of Plaid's own linking screen is also subject to Plaid's end user privacy policy. You may disconnect a linked institution at any time from within the app, which revokes our access to it.
Figures, documents and records you enter or connect remain yours. We claim no ownership of them. Where a Plaid access grant is held on our server to operate linking (described in the Privacy Policy), that is solely to provide the feature to you, and ends when you disconnect the institution.
Do not use the app to store or process information you do not have the right to hold; do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or attack the app or our server; do not use the app or the credentials it helps you manage to commit fraud; and do not use it in a way that violates the terms of any bank, card issuer or institution you connect to it.
Some features may be offered on a paid plan. If they are, purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are billed, renewed, refunded and cancelled under that store's rules and your account settings there — not by us directly. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Prices and what a plan includes may change; we will tell you before a change affects a subscription you already hold.
Manually entered figures, budgets, goals and every calculator are designed to work without a network connection. Bank and card linking depends on our server and on Plaid being available, and we do not promise uninterrupted service for it. We may change, suspend or discontinue features; if we discontinue something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice and, where we can, a way to export your work first.
You may stop using the app at any time. Disconnecting a linked institution and deleting the app removes everything associated with your use of it — there is no separate account to delete. We may suspend or restrict linking access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law or by Plaid.
Except where the law does not allow it, LifeOS Finance is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any calculation, projection or Copilot answer is free of error — every one of them depends on the accuracy of the figures you entered or connected.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, including any arising from a financial decision you made using the app. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities. Where that is so, the exclusions above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, the accuracy of data you entered or connected, or your infringement of a third party's rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to them.
Two exceptions. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. And where the mandatory consumer law of the place you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there, or to the protection of your own courts, nothing in this section takes that right away.
Texas, rather than Delaware, because that is where we do business and where a dispute would practically be heard. Our organisation as a Delaware company governs our own internal affairs under Delaware law; it does not govern this agreement with you.
This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app or for support of it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo or listed as a prohibited party.
If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the app.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and where the change is material we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
